The Moluccan eclectus, or Red-sided parrot, is a parrot native to the Moluccan Islands, Indonesia. This intelligent bird has green and bright colors for males, while females have bright red feathers with a combination of purple and blue. Red-sided parrot populations still exist today, mostly on small islands.
